1. Hotter than seven corners of Hades.
2. None.
3. Denim shorts and a trashy synthetic second-hand tight blue t-shirt my husband refers to affectionately as the "slut top."
4. Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire, and Bottomfeeder: How to Eat Ethically in a World of Vanishing Seafood by Taras Grescoe
5. Last night we had sweet corn and potatoes with pesto and--uh-oh--wild Alaskan salmon from a can
6. Down the street and through residential neighborhoods. Bo-ring.
7. Yep, Dave Brubeck's Take Five album.
8. MacBook Pro
9. a yoga ball perched on two flat pillows

Sweet corn and potatoes? That sounds SO yummy! Mmmmmmmmmmmm...

1. Pleasantly warm and unpleasantly humid.
2. One. Delicious coffee with breakfast out with friends.
3. Unevenly striped blue/green/brown/yellow button-down shirt from J.Crew clearance, olive green cargo shorts, bare feet.
4. No time for books right now, sadly.
5. I enjoyed dinner a couple hours ago, though it was super simple and very atypical of what I usually eat. It was ground turkey made into taco meat, and wrapped up in a burrito wrapper with rice, shredded lettuce, salsa, cheddar cheese, peppers, and onions.
6. I walked to get an ice cream cone yesterday. Espresso Oreo. Mmmmmm.
7. I am listening on and off to Gogol Bordello. Such fun, but much more fun if it's loud, and it can't be loud as the baby's sleeping.
8. Like Steph, also a MacBook Pro.
9. It's a wooden office-y chair with a cream colored pad on it... came with my desk.
10. No obligations? Hm. I think I would go sit in an anonymous, dark, air conditioned theatre, and see the Batman movie already.

1. Very, very nice. Warm, sunny, not hot, no mosquitos.

2. 3 espressos

3. A stinky white t-shirt and corduroy jeans and lime green plastic garden shoes that are like crocs only cheaper and they fit me.

4. The Golden Compass. I have been reading it for a while because i have almost no time to read.

5. Lunch was good. Sweet bi-color corn, little tomatoes (from the farmers' market) and couscous with purreed veggies (because Daniel doesn't eat vegetables otherwise.) I expect dinner tonight will be good: homemade noodles with pesto-marinara sauce and a CSA zucchini.

6. Well, we're always walking to the park, but Thursday I walked over a mile to the market to get fresh Michigan blueberries with Anya on my back and Daniel in the stroller.

7. No. I wouldn't mind listening to some chamber music right now.

8. Mac.

9. A cheap office chair.

10. I have no idea but it would probably involve alcohol and no children.
