Protein

So, this week, my challenge to myself is to try to eat enough protein. More specifically, I'm going to make sure I get at least 50g of protein every day, because I don't think I usually do.

So far this is not difficult at all. I think when I focus on trying to get enough protein, it's not hard to succeed. When I just blindly eat lots of refined carbohydrates, I get filled up really quickly and that's when I have a tendency to not eat enough protein, but if I think about it, it's pretty easy to do.

Maybe I need a harder challenge...

Naaaah, just take it one step at a time. Live with this - get used to having more protein, get used to succeeding at a challenge before moving on. :)

If you're like me, parts of a lifestyle change are easy, but then after a few weeks of protein-focus, it's like, wow, I would sell a spare organ for a bagel right about now...

If it seems easy, that must mean that you're doing great, and it feels good! Also that you *can* do it in the long term. Keep it up!
