Random Thought

A lot of people choose to buy unbleached coffee filters for their coffee makers because it's better for their health, but when is the last time you saw an unbleached disposable coffee cup? Isn't drinking from a bleached cup just as hazardous to your health?

Maybe... I think because the cups are lined with waterproofy stuff it probably doesn't really matter. But then, I prefer my thermos anyway!

I don't use disposable cups, but I know a number of people who regularly do. I just did a search and you're right, they waterproofy stuff is plastic. It seems like not only is it a bad idea for the environment to litter it with tons of cups, but also maybe not a good idea for your health. I was surprised in looking around the internet that I wasn't able to find anyone talking about the health impacts of using disposable cups. It's like when I was a kid, I always wondered why everyone assumed the disposable plastic forks and napkins that were on the counter at a fast food restaurant were clean. What makes them clean? What makes them safe? I have been asking these questions to myself for a long time...
