Right now, nothing.

4. Page 5 is the title page (the book is numbered from front). On the fifth page of text there's: "For ten leagues or more it ran from the mountains' feet and so back again, enclosing in its fence the fields of the Palennor: fair and fertile townlands on the long slopes and terraces falling to the deep levels of the Anduin."

5. Nope. My roommate chuckling on her phone and my computer whirring and the keys clicking.

6. Ana.

7. Seems like if you're going to carry something like that around, you might as well have a laptop. On the other hand, I kind of want a Kindle or eReader of some kind, and the iPad might be a nice version with lots more stuff to do. On the other other hand, couldn't they have come up with a name that doesn't sound like it's for that time of the month?

2. Playing outside with the little one(s).

3. I just went shopping last night, so almost nothing. But I really wish I had bought some fizzy seltzer water, and now I'm regretting not picking it up.

4. But the sound of my baby girl "napping" is very overwhelming. Her version of naptime is to shout and sing and jump and play loudly.

6. My baby girl Lotte! It's like, I'm here all alone in my own world feeling isolated and lonely and then this questionnaire lets me see a little snippet of someone else's world and makes me feel somehow less alone. Since I've been to your house, I can totally picure you at your computer with NPR coming from your bedroom (guessing?) and Curious George from the living room where Anya and Daniel are watching from the couch (guessing?). And you are there thinking, we've got to get over to the grocery store and get some tp! And, I'm thinking, is she going to go to Willy St. or somewhere closer? And then you start vacuuming and Daniel comes up to you with his silly pajama outfit and earmuffs on and you and Anya start laughing (and probably Stuart, too, depending on what time it is). Yay. Thanks, Suze. :-)Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16632245438511998562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30831203.post-10910788965180706962010-01-27T19:14:21.259-05:002010-01-27T19:14:21.259-05:001. I look forward to everything about summer - the long, long hours of daylight, swimming, being outside in general, not getting sick every 2 weeks...

3. I need a whole bunch of stuff from the store. If I don't go tonight after hte kids are in bed, or drag them with me tomorrow, we will run out of vegetables and toilet paper!

4. "It would start with just one: his forced, rhythmic groaning, like a saw blade."
That sounds so awfully dirty, doesn't it? It's actually just a description of howler monkeys from Kingsolver's latest novel, Lacuna.

5. I hear background music from Curious George (PBS series we got on DVD from the library). Also, NPR.

6. Probably one of my kids. Yes...it was Daniel. Today he put on long PJs under his short PJs, then put on ear muffs to watch me vaccuum the rug.

7.
